MANITOBA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (MPNP)

The first PNP in Canada was the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In 1998, it was turned into a permanent immigration scheme.
Based on the province's economic and labour market demands, the initiative was started to aid in the expansion of its economy through immigration. The MPNP has had great success in Manitoba. In fact, without it, Manitoba's GDP could have decreased by as much as 30%.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream

It has two pathways :

Work Experience Pathway in Manitoba

Pathway for Employer Direct Recruitment

You must participate in an interview with a Manitoba company and an MPNP representative in order to be qualified for this programme. These interrogations take place outside of Canada. Before submitting an application via this channel, you must obtain an invitation to apply.

Processing Time : 6 months

Minimum Requirements :

must be a recent graduate from an international school or a temporary foreign worker;
a valid work permit or post-graduation work permit is required;
must be offered a full-time, permanent position by their present Manitoba employer;
must have spent at least six months continuously working at their current employment;
must possess all necessary training, education, and credentials for the position, as well as any necessary licences or certifications;
must be able to speak English or French in order to perform the duties listed in their job description;
must be more closely connected to Manitoba through their employment than they are to any other Canadian province;
must be able to demonstrate in a Settlement Plan that they have the ability and intend to live, work, and create a family in Manitoba as a permanent resident;
must be financially stable (the primary applicant must have CAD $10,000 and each dependent must have CAD $2,000);
A recognised commercial enterprise that has been in operation for at least three years is required for your employer;
Your workplace must be fair to Canadians and permanent residents.

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream consists of two pathways:

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway

People who are qualified under another MPNP stream and have an active Express Entry profile should follow this route. These candidates must also have a close connection to Manitoba and experience in one of the professions on Manitoba's list of In-Demand Occupations.

Human Capital Pathway

This pathway is for foreign skilled workers with experience in an occupation listed Manitoba's In-demand Occupations.

Application Fee : CAD $500

Processing Time : 6 months

Minimum Requirements :

A minimum score of 60 out of 100 on the points assessment grid; a link to Manitoba, such as support from friends or family who reside there, prior job experience or study in the province, or an invitation to apply from the MPNP. Depending on the type of connection you have, there are extra requirements;
Must be at least 18 years old;
Must submit a detailed Career Plan;
Must have at least six months of experience in an In-Demand occupation.

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway	No	Must have a Job Seeker Validation Code and a current Express Entry profile. The minimal language requirements are CLB 6 for NOC B and CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A. You also need to have enough money to last you for six months.
Human Capital Pathway	No	In order to qualify for a regulated occupation, you must : Have completed at least one year-long post-secondary program; Meet the minimum language requirement (CLB 5 for NOC 0, A, or B; CLB 6 for Compulsory Trades; CLB 7 for a Regulated Occupation); Be in possession of enough money to last for six months.

Manitoba Business Investor Stream

If you wish to immigrate to Manitoba and do business there, there are two pathways :

Farm Investor Pathway

This route is for those who want to immigrate to Manitoba and set up and run a farm there and have experience in the farming industry.

Entrepreneur Pathway

The province can identify and nominate qualified foreign business owners to relocate to Manitoba through the Entrepreneur Pathway. They must be capable of co-owning an existing firm or having the desire to start one from scratch. They must do this within the first two years of their temporary work visa arrival in Manitoba.

International Education Stream

The International Education Stream (IES) is intended to offer quicker avenues to permanent residency for Manitoba graduates who fulfil the demands of business. The three pathways in this stream are the Graduate Internship Pathway, the Student Entrepreneur Pathway, and the Career Employment Pathway.

For foreign graduates of Manitoban educational institutions who are employable, there is the International Education Stream (IES). Graduates can take advantage of quicker routes to permanent residency thanks to the IES. There are three possibilities available to you :

Career Employment Pathway

The Career Employment Pathway is for post-secondary graduates who have long-term employment in Manitoba in an in-demand occupation.

Graduate Internship Pathway

The Graduate Internship Pathway is for foreign master's and doctoral degree holders who have successfully completed an Accelerate or Elevate internship with Mitacs, a company that collaborates with the province of Manitoba to assist in providing internships to foreign graduates.

International Student Entrepreneur Pathway

Up to 20 international graduates of a Manitoba educational institution have the chance to start their own businesses in Manitoba thanks to the International Student Entrepreneur Pathway. Before they can be proposed for permanent residence, they must fulfil the terms of a business performance agreement.

Morden Community-Driven Immigration Initiative

Town of Morden, Manitoba, is located 112 kilometres from Winnipeg. This community is aggressively seeking new immigrants in a few professions that will fill labour market gaps. Those who are successful in obtaining permanent residency through this program will do so in Canada.

You must not have any ties to any other region of Canada and meet the standards for age, education, language proficiency, and work experience. Additionally, you must have sufficient funds to establish in Morden and desire to reside there.
